Obtaining a professional home inspection is an important step towards having a healthy and efficient home.
    There are many reasons to get a home inspection as you will see throughout this website. Probably the most important reason is safety. There are literally thousands of building codes that have been established over the last several years many of them are there for safety reasons. Others are there to improve and sustain the functionality of the systems comprising your home. The bottom line is you are spending a great deal of money on this property and you will be responsible for maintaining it. It is important to understand exactly what you are buying. You don't want a $10,000 surprise six months after you move in. Once you sign at closing all issues belong to you.

     The on site data collecting process( for a standard home inspection) takes a minimum of two and a half hours. It is important to spend this time with the inspector.
